Center for Climate Change and Health Governance

The Center for Climate Change and Health Governance bridges research, policy development, and community collaboration to address the health and livelihood impacts of climate change. Our work focuses on transforming lived experiences of climate challenges into practical strategies that guide how we engage with government leaders, community representatives, and rural traditional farmers. By connecting scientific insight with on-the-ground realities, we foster cooperation among stakeholders who are often divided by circumstance or skepticism. In many African countries, food security stands at the center of the climate crisis. Through proven development strategies, the Center helps bring together elected officials and rural farming communities to work toward sustainable, equitable solutions. Our goal is to inspire confidence among funders and partners by demonstrating how inclusive governance can drive meaningful change in the face of global climate challenges.

The core of the plan involves translating scientific evidence into actionable guidance for policy makers, public health professionals and community leaders with a focus on equity and justice for vulnerable populations.
